Antique L.A. Hotel Register
- Antique Hotel Register from the Hollenbeck Hotel, Los Angeles, 1900. The Hollenbeck Hotel existed from 1884 to 1932 and was centrally located in downtown Los Angeles at South Spring Street and West 2nd Street. Hotel guests included political figures, business figures, travelers stopping in Los Angeles, and attendees of large meetings - such as the Stanford Club from Stanford University, which the hotel hosted.
Pages consist of signatures of visitors from August 9th to October 11th, 1900, listing the names of several thousand visitors. The register includes ink blotter pages between the signature pages containing brightly printed, and multi-colored advertisements of prominent Los Angeles businesses - some of the blotter pages have been removed, and many are damaged.
Condition: with wear and damage commensurate to use and age, loss to leather binding and blotter pages.
