He was first trained in Zaragoza, his native city, at the School of Arts and Crafts. In Madrid he continued his training at the Cïrculo de Bellas Artes and at the same time worked as a decorator for different theatres. He took part in the first exhibition held by the Grupo Pórtico in Zaragoza. After receiving a pension in Paris, he went to Washington, advising the Spanish Embassy in that country. On his return to our country he was appointed a member of the San Luis Academy. His hometown organised an anthological exhibition for him.
His work can be found in various public and private collections both in Spain and abroad.
