Advertising Poster New Orleans Dixieland Hall Papa French Jazz McBride. Original vintage advertising poster titiled 'New Orleans, LA', with an etching artwork illustrating a scene from a jazz bar or parlour. The drawing is of Albert 'Papa' French (1910-1977), an American jazz musician, banjo player, and band leader who was based in New Orleans. He was a banjo player in the Original Tuxedo Brass Band of New Orleans. An audiences watches French playing the banjo on stage, with a trumpeter at the background. Acceptable condition, stain mark and writing in pen at the top. Country of issue: USA, designer: Francisco McBride, size (cm): 56x44.5, year of printing: 1969.
