Advertising Poster The New Baby Play David De Wolf. Original antique theatre advertising poster for a comedy play The New Baby - a howling success chaperoned by David DeWolf - adapted by Arthur Bourchier from a German play by H. Fischer and Joseph Jarn. Fun image entitled Papa's Baby featuring a father wearing a white nightshirt trying to comfort a crying baby, unaware that he's about to step on some pins, with a lady in her bed stealing his wallet and two boys watching, one of them holding up sign: 110th lap. Printed by The US Lithograph Co Russell-Morgan Print Cincinnati New York. c.1899/1900. Fair condition, loss and soiling on margins, restored tears, backed on linen. Country of issue: USA, designer: Unknown, size (cm): 73.5x53.5, year of printing: 1900s.
