Original vintage advertising poster - The Play's the Thing - designed by the notable illustrator Lucile Patterson Marsh (1890-1978), published by the Bureau of Social Education and the National Board of the Young Women's Christian Association YWCA, featuring a cast of actors and actresses dressed in middle age period costumes walking down a staircase coming through an arch designed in the shape of a Comedia del Arte theatre mask with a green floral wreath above and the title in stylised white and red letters in the bottom left corner, the YWCA triangle logo below.
