Original vintage propaganda poster Map Review No 29 Published June 7th 1947, featuring articles 'What the world eats' with a map of the world showing calorie intake by dividing the nation's total food by the number of people in the country; 'ILO' the International Labour Organization, founded in 1919 to further the principles of social Justice; 'Paper!' on allocation of paper. The reverse of the poster features 'Posters for the People' on the Government posters and advertisements, discussion sheets and wall charts, with caricatures of people on the street looking at the posters on a brick wall. Issued by The Bureau of Current Affairs, Carnegie House, 117 Piccadilly, W.1. Printed by Fosh & Cross, Ltd, London. Horizontal. Good condition, folds, creasing, foxing on the fold, double sided.
