Original vintage advertising poster for the Empire Marketing Board - EMB Empire Buying Begins At Home - featuring the EMB crown logo against a dark background with the stylised text in orange letters below. Artwork by the notable illustrator and poster designer Austin Cooper (1890-1964). The Empire Marketing Board (1926-1933) was formed to promote intra-Empire trade. Good condition, restored folds and small tears, pinholes, backed on linen. Country of issue: UK, designer: Austin Cooper, size (cm): 102x63.5, year of printing: 1930s.
