Original vintage travel poster advertising Roussillon featuring butterflies and figures in a red frame with yellow lines of light from the centre and a person with a butterfly casting a long shadow in front of snow topped mountains in the distance below, designed by the renowned surrealist artist Salvador Dali (1904-1989) for the state owned French National Railways (SNCF Societe Nationale des Chemins de Fer Francais; founded 1938). Lettering in German. Very good condition, light browning, light creasing. Country of issue: France, designer: Salvador Dali, size (cm): 60x37, year of printing: 1970.
