A small majolica flowerpot from the factory of Semyon Ivanovich Maslennikov in the village of Chernyatka, Tver province. 1880s. It is a stylized wooden tub, decorated with voluminous, colored mascarons of lions with rings in their teeth, and convex flower garlands between them. Rests on a profiled cobalt blue base. On its inside there is a mark in the dough: S. Maslennikov. Number 34. Height 13.5 cm. Diameter 12 cm.
