THREE LARGE ANTIQUE AMERICAN R HEINISCH SCISSORS
A lot of three large antique American metal shears or scissors with curved handles. All scissors are adorned with brass caps, marked, R. Heinisch Inventor, Newark, NJ. Circa: late 19th century to early 20th century. Rochus Heinisch was a German immigrant who began manufacturing surgical instruments, and later tailoring and sailmaking cutlery, in Newark, New Jersey around 1835.
