RUSSIAN PORTRAIT PAINTING BY ANATOLY ZVEREV
Anatoly Timofeevich Zverev, Russian, 1931 to 1986, a gouache on paper female portrait painting, 1976. Signed by the artist upper left, dated lower right. Matted. Zverev was a member of the non-conformist movement and a founder of Russian Expressionism in the 1960s. He did not have a solo show in Russia until shortly before his death in 1986 and his work was exhibited in small, underground galleries. Female Portrait Paintings And Russian Art Collectibles.
