ANTIQUE JAPANESE SHUNGA WOODBLOCK BY KORYUSAI
Isoda Koryusai, 1735 to 1790, an antique Japanese Meiji Era Shunga woodblock print on paper depicting an erotic nude scene with Calligraphy texts. Inscribed in the print to the center left and lower right. Circa: late 18th century. The Japanese word Shunga means picture of spring; spring is a common euphemism for sex. Isoda Koryūsai was a Japanese ukiyo e print designer and painter. Antique Asian and Oriental Graphic Art prints and Collectibles.
