CHINESE PORTRAIT EMPEROR EMPRESS WATERCOLOR PAINTING
A pair of antique Chinese Qing Dynasty watercolor painting on rice paper depicting a couple of ancestors, a double portrait of Empress and Emperor. They are depicted seated on a throne and dressed in a Royal robe and an elaborate headdress. The robes are adorned with Phoenix bird, floral and foliage motifs. The lower part is decorated with traditional ornaments. Unsigned. Circa: the late 19th century to the early 20th century. Framed. The frame is adorned with a pair of ornate loops, on a top.
