ATTR TO ALLEN CUNNINGHAM ILLUSTRATION PAINTING
Attributed to Allen W. Cunningham, Contemporary American artist, ink and watercolor painting on paper depicting an illustration with many characters, 1999. The illustration is made in the manner of Friedensreich Hundertwasser, 1928 to 2000, an Austrian architect and painter. Signed and dated by the artist, Allen 99, lower right. Inscribed, Cunningham, lower left. Framed. Allen Cunningham is an American artist, known for the original watercolor illustrations of paper dolls, followed by the original art dolls. Allen works in paper clay. Each doll is hand painted and clothing is made in a variety of fabrics, both new and antique.
