STILL LIFE WITH VEGETABLES PAINTING EUGENIUSZ EIBISCH
Eugeniusz Eibisch, Polish, 1896 to 1987, oil painting on canvas titled Still Life with Vegetables. Signed lower left by the artist. Additionally signed and inscribed to the back. Framed. In 1922, with the support of the Krakow Academy of Fine Arts, Eugeniusz Eibisch left for Paris and received a grant from the French government. He settled in Montparnasse and made friends with the group of Polish artists. Eibisch was also a friend of the writers Francis Ponge and Roger Martin du Gard.
