ART DECO FRENCH SOFA LITHOGRAPH BY LOUIS ICART
Louis Justin Laurent Icart, French, 1888 to 1950, a limited edition color lithograph on paper, Sofa, 1937, depicting an Art Deco portrait of a lady seated on a sofa. Signed lower right. Framed. Louis Icart is known for Sensuous female figure drawing and painting, fashion design. His creativity reached its peak during the Art Deco period, and the artist became a real symbol of this era while working in his own style, which relied on the art of French masters of the 18th century.
