ANTIQUE 19TH C EUROPEAN OPALINE GLASS OIL LAMP
An antique European oil lamp made of beautiful pink opaline glass and hand painted with delicate enameled floral patterns. Presumably French, circa the first half of the 19th century. Opaline glass is a type of colored glass that is semi-opaque and was made to resemble porcelain using bone ash as well as metal oxides for the color.
