A Japanese Satsuma porcelain tripod incense burner. Circa Meiji period, before 1912. The Satsuma vase or incense burner with a lid, is intricately decorated with traditional Japanese polychrome patterns, scenes from the life of Japanese court ladies, and gilt decoration throughout. Hieroglyphical hallmark and Made in Japan on the bottom. Antique And Vintage Oriental Porcelain And Pottery Pieces For Home Decor.
