I Knew Hitler, The Story of a Nazi Who Escaped the Blood Purge by Kurt G.W. Ludecke. First Edition. Published by Charles Scribners Sons, NY, 1937. Hardcover. Signed by the first owner on the flyleaf. The lot also includes a signed typewritten letter from the author adressed to collector Stephen Bumball, as well as newspaper cut outs about Ludecke. Kurt Ludecke, 1890 to 1960, was a German entrepreneur and journalist, member of the Nazi party since 1922. He is known primarily as a key figure in Adolf Hitlers entourage of the 1920s.
