ANTIQUE FRENCH FRANCOIS LAFON OIL PORTRAIT PAINTING
An antique French oil on board portrait painting by Francois Lafon, 1877. The painting depicts a portrait of a young woman wearing a lace dress with short sleeves. Signed and dated lower right. On the back is the Alexander Gallery label. Gilt wooden frame. Francois Lafon, 1846 to 1920, was a French artist known for female figures and genre painting. Collectible European Continental Fine Art, Portraiture. One of a kind artwork.
