PAIR OF CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE BALUSTER JARS AND LIDS
Ca. 19th century. A pair of Chinese Famille Rose baluster jars and lids. The body is decorated with the "Hundred Antiques" pattern, with a foliage scrolls band on the base, shoulder and lid. The "Hundred Antiques" is a decorative pattern that can be commonly found in Qing dynasty arts. The pattern is a depiction of multiple antique objects that can include ceramics, bronze, scholar pieces and hardstone, often which conveys the theme of prosperity.
