JAPANESE SATSUMA PANELED BOWL WITH SHIMAZU CREST AND SHUZAN MARK
Late Meiji period (AD 1868-1912). A Japanese Satsuma bowl. The body has multiple scenery cartouches against a brocade background, sitting on top of three brocade bands and topped with another. The inside of the bowl holds another cartouche showing an entertainment scene against a landscape. A Shimazu crest and Shuzan mark can be found underneath the bowl. 日本萨摩烧碗。碗身以锦缎纹为背景，绘有多幅风景图案，上面有三条锦带，锦带上还有另一条锦带。碗的内壁有 另一个以山水为背景的娱乐图案。 Size: 130mm x 290mm; Weight: 2.2kg
