SET OF JAPANESE SATSUMA TEAPOTS
Meiji period (AD 1868-1912). A set of three Satsuma tripod teapots and covers. The flattened form is signature of the period , each decorated with panels of miniature paintings. In each panel, the background has a cream glaze with a delicate crackled effect. Two of the teapots have a Shozan mark on the base. 一套三个萨摩烧茶壶。扁平的造型是这一时期的特征,每个茶壶上都装饰有微缩画。每幅画的背景都涂有奶油色釉 ,并带有细腻的裂纹效果。其中两个茶壶的底座上有正山印记。 Size: 80-105mm x 80-110mm; Weight: 420g
