CHINESE HAN DYNASTY WARRIOR - TL TESTED
Ca. 202 BC - AD 220 A Chinese terracotta warrior painted with red, yellow and black pigments. The standing warrior is dressed in a long robe with a hat, loose trousers and military boots. Both hands arre held up, possibly to have been holding weapons. This piece has been precisely dated using a Thermo Luminescence analysis carried out by Ralf Kotalla. The report will accompany the lot. Size: 550mm x 160mm; Weight: 3.5kg Provenance: East Anglian private collection; formerly acquired in the early 1990s in Hong Kong. This item has been cleared against the Art Loss Register database and comes with a confirmation letter. This piece has been precisely dated using a Thermo Luminescence analysis carried out by Ralf Kotalla. The report will accompany the lot. This piece is accompanied by a historical report from Alessandro Neri, an international Cultural Heritage expert based in Florence, Italy.
