Ca. 202 BC - AD 220.A Han dynasty terracotta bird. The bird is painted white with red and black pigments and has a detailed face and feathers. It is leaning forward and its wings are folded to the side. The bird is supported by bronze legs. This piece has been precisely dated using a Thermo Luminescence analysis carried out by Ralf Kotalla.
