Ca. AD 400 - 600. A semi-translucent turquoise cut glass cup with a convex base, tall body tapering towards the opening with a straight rim. The exterior is decorated with a honeycomb pattern of deeply cut circular facets.Size: 85mm x 80mm; Weight: 170gProvenance: Ex. Russkin collection, formed in the 1980s. This item has been cleared against the Art Loss Register database and comes with a confirmation letter.This piece is accompanied by a historical report from Alessandro Neri, an international Cultural Heritage expert based in Florence, Italy.
