CHINESE QINGBAI VASE
Song Dynasty, Ca. AD 960 - 1279. A qingbai vase of globular body rising from a splayed foot to a tall neck with flaring mouth. The exterior is carved with stylised foliate and vertical petal panels around the neck and foot, covered in a pale bluish-green qingbai glaze. Accompanied by a brocade-covered storage box lined in black velvet, fitted to the vase. Size: 160mm x 85mm; Weight: 290g. Provenance: Private London collection; Ex Private Hong Kong collection, acquired in the 1990s. This item has been cleared against the Art Loss Register database and comes with a confirmation letter.
