Description:
Tempera on wood. Kovcheg. Border scenes: Left fold. 1. St. Luke the Evangelist paints the icon of Our Lady. 2. St. Luke the Evangelist shows the icon to Our Lady. 3. Translation of the icon from Constantinople to Kiev (?). 4. Meeting of the icon in Kiev. 5. Icon is placed in the Virgin's Convent in Vyshgorod. 6. Miracle concerning the rescue of the envoy of the Most Orthodox Prince Andrey Bogolubsky. Right fold: 7. The translation of the icon to Vladimir. 8. The placing of the icon at the Dormition cathedral in Vladimir. 9. Praying of Great prince Vasiliy Dimitrievich before the icon. 10. The Translation of the icon to Moscow. 11. The Apparition of the church with icon of Our Lady and the city Vladimir "in the air" to Prince Vsevolod Georgievich. 12. The miracle concerning a horse which did not wish to budge near the river Klyazma.
