A LARGE POLYCHROME ENAMELLED PORCELAIN BALUSTER VASE
China, Jiaqing mark and period
Circular section, two handles in the shape of a stylized dragon on the neck, the fine decoration on the body - painted with polychrome enamels applied on the transparent glaze - consisting of a large lake landscape with pavilions, mountains and trees with children caught in various playful activities, towards the base a band of paired stylized leaves, on the shoulder a band with ruyi scepter heads and on the neck lotus flowers on a yellow ground.
