AN INCISED AND CÉLADON GLAZED CERAMIC EWER AND COVER
Korea, Goryeo period, 12th-13th century
The ewer with an ovoid body with a curved spout and a ear-shaped handle with a small ring on the top, the incised decoration consisting of floral motifs and towards the base and the shoulder of paired stylized leaves, the whole external surface with a céladon glaze.

Provenance: Italian private collection, acquired in Korea in the 1960s.
