An excellent reprint of this beautifully illustrated 1846 locomotive work, depicting the Great Western Railway line. In the publisher's original price dust Sleeve. John C. Bourne's 1846 work depicts sweeping images of the many stations along the Great Western Line. Illustrated with thirty-two monochrome lithographs by Bourne.
Printed by David and Charles reprints of Newton Abbot, who produced many transport facsimile works. Locations include Chippenham, Swindon, Box, Bathford, Bathampton, Windsor and Slough. In the publisher's original cloth binding, with dust sleeve (this is in poor condition), otherwise externally excellent. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright, with only the odd instance of minor spotting. Near Fine.
