A fine hexagonal 'Tischuhr', by Josephus Jans in Passau, ca. 1730, H 6 - W 8 cm
The spring-driven movement is constructed between gilt-brass plates. It consists of a going train, as well as an alarm. The going train has a spring barrel, chain fusee and verge escapement under a fine pierced and engraved balance cock. Signed on the backplate 'Josephus Jans in Passau' (1680-1760). In its original leather travel box, H 7,5 - W 9 cm
