A Chinese monochrome ji lan sacrificial blue ground vase, of archaistic Hu form, the bulbous body reserved in gilt with five dragons amongst lingzhi-shaped clouds, in pursuit of a flaming pearl, above crashing waves visible at the foot rim, the neck with a scrolling lotus pattern, paired with handles in the shape of Fu dog heads holding a ring, with a Qianlong mark at the bottom, late Qing, H 55 cm
