A pair of Japanese Meiji period shibayama decorated ivory vases, total H 31 - 32 cm / total weight of each item 1438 - 1673 g (+)
Both items are inlaid with mother-of-pearl, semi-precious stones, coral, and other materials showing an impressive and rich flowery environment both at the front and at the reverse; the top and base rim with a silver mount; on a fixed wooden base.
