KIM-AREA BUFFALO HEADDRESS CAMEROON, 19TH-20TH CENTURY WOOD, PIGMENTS
Height 18 inches. Some paint loss and wear.

An imposing variety of masks were used in the Grasslands by masking societies controlled by chiefs or important family heads. Some masks represent human faces and others have combination of human and animals features.
