Sir Edmund Hillary signed official Extreme Endeavours FDC. It features the signature of Edmund Hillary and is numbered 98 out of only 250 produced. The FDC has a Scott Cover No. 72 and is dedicated to the topic of the 50th Anniversary of the Ascent to Everest. The cancellation type is First Day of Issue and the stamps are multi-coloured and this First Day Cover is a great addition to any stamp collection. Sir Edmund Percival Hillary KG ONZ KBE was a New Zealand mountaineer, explorer, and philanthropist. On 29 May 1953, Hillary and Sherpa mountaineer Tenzing Norgay became the first climbers confirmed to have reached the summit of Mount Everest.
