SHIPS FROM THE ARTIST'S STUDIO IN ------ London Original painting, acrylic, Kolanut and model paste on wood. Inspired by my culture and nature. The kola nut is the fruit of the kola tree (Cola acuminata and Cola nitida), indigenous to West Africa. The piece seeks to capture the value, importance, and beauty of the kola nut when pulled apart. BIO Eunice Bossman-Okai is a visual artist who situates her practice between conceptual and contemporary art. Bossman-Okai?s work brings an awareness to the values and morals rooted in her spiritual beliefs which are influenced by her culture, nature, and spirituality.
