This original colored engraving shows the houses of Adrichem with a garden and a large pond from the book Het Zeganpralent Kennemerlant by Hendrik de Leth, published around 1700–1730 years, Holland. Hendrick de Leth (1620-1690) was a Dutch cartographer and publisher. He was born in Amsterdam and worked as an engraver and publisher of maps and atlases. De Leth was known for his detailed and accurate maps of the Netherlands, as well as maps of other European regions. He produced several atlases, including ”Nieuwe Kaartboek van de Nederlandse Provincies” (New Atlas of the Dutch Provinces) and ”De Zegepriemende Vorsten Oorlog” (The Dominant War of Princes). Hendrick de Leth's maps and atlases continue to be valued by collectors and historians today for their historical accuracy and aesthetic appeal.This is an original print, with original handcoloring
