Melkio was born in Genoa, Italy in 1984 and has always drawn. Melkio himself explains: ‘As far back as I can remember, I've always thrown everything away...
I made the drawing, then threw it in the bin. For me it was so natural that it made no sense to keep them’.
In 2020, while in confinement, his career began. His artistic career has developed in symbiosis with an imagination that could be described as constantly expanding.

Melkio est né à Gênes, en Italie en 1984 et a toujours dessiné. Ce qui signifie ce Toujours " c'est Melkio lui-même qui l'explique : "d'aussi loin que je m'en souvienne, mais j'ai toujours tout jeté...
J'ai fait le dessin, puis à la poubelle. Pour moi c'était tellement naturel que ça n'avait aucun sens de les garder".
En 2020 pendant le confinement, sa carrière débute. Son parcours artistique s'est développé en symbiose avec un imaginaire, que l'on pourrait définir en constance expansion.
