WWII US M1 Helmet-Fixed Bale,Front Seam,Steel Rim
This helmet is an early fixed bale, front seam, steel rim shell. The liner is inside dome marked "28" over Mine Safety Appliance Company (MSA). The helmet show some use and sweat stains to liner headband. The liner and shell have very high percentage of cork mixed paint and smooth liner paint. There some loss of paint on steel rim. Khaki chinstrap has darkened steel buckles. This is a real beauty in very good, if not excellent condition.
