Madeira, 1868, 120 reis blue, used with two 50 reis green imperforate singles, each canceled by “51” circular grid, matching “Funchal, 24/7” double-circle datestamp with matching small “PD” framed handstamp on cover with preprinted address to New York City, red London Paid (8.1) transit cds with red crayon “3” pence credit to U.S., red “New York Paid All, Aug 11” exchange cds; reduced at right and restored slightly, top edge tear, one 50 reis with corner fault and other with corner crease. Fine and rare combination use. Ex - Washburne.
