Angola. Railway mail. Letter written in Seattle, United States, on 20 July 1916, postage of 4 cents, and addressed to “Marguesas. Portuguese Territory, Africa”. It is marked as having arrived in Luanda, and was transported by Ambulancia II-Loanda on 27 September, and again in Luanda on 28 September. It was not claimed and was returned to the sender in Seattle, having been opened by the censor.
