Unfranked letter sent (27.5.1929) by the Ponte de Lima post office, which marked the absence with T “tax”, to Paredes de Coura (28.5). At the destination post office, due to a lack of postage stamps, an 80c. franking stamp was used as a backup, on which Porteado was written, corresponding to double the missing postage, paid by the addressee.
