WWII Photo Albums - Eisenhower and Patton. US Soldiers mock Hitler's photo.
2 photo albums, of Joseph S. Brand a (Jewish?) soldier from the Third Army of the US Army during World War II. On the front page and last page of each album there is a photo of Generals Dwight D. Eisenhower and George s. Patton. 2 photos 17.5x21 cm. In the light colored album, 2 photos are 22x24 cm. On the Dark Album. The four of them are glued to the pages of the album.
At the beginning of each album is a drawing of a map of Europe with the landmarks where the soldier was during the war, and a painting of him wearing a uniform with an emblem of the Third Army, wearing a helmet and carrying luggage on his way back to the US.
The rest of the photos include a wide range of subjects, military life, US military vehicles, ruined streets, landscapes, a few photographs from battle zones and more.
A total of 160 photos in both albums and in bulk. Most of them are bigger then a postcard.
The light colored album is 20x27 cm. Good general condition, stains on the cover. Photos in very good condition, some are glued to the album pages
The dark album is 24x32 cm. Good general condition, detached cover, photos in very good condition, some are glued to the album pages.
