Check for 275 Reichsmark. In honor of Tand? Gruberger, signed by Swede? Gruberger
The check issued after the Nazis came to power on 15 May 1933. Hitler used a check from the same company to buy his Mercedes in 1929.
Actually called a ‘Wechsel’ and back in those days was a 'Zahlungsversprechen' meaning at a certain date this document could be taken to the bank and was the same as a check - basically a predated check. This form of payment is no longer used.
