Large Apulian red-figure fish-plate of the Hippocamp Painter. - Large Apulian red-figure fish-plate of the Hippocamp Painter. Canosa, last quarter 4th century BC. Height 7,6cm, ø 23,3cm. Three different sea breams swimming counterclockwise. Details in white and yellow. In the central pit, on the rim and around the foot reddish slip. Tiny missing fragment of the rim is retouched, one chip at the foot, otherwise intact.
