Apulian chous of the Gnathia Ware. - Apulian chous of the Gnathia Ware. 340 - 320 century BC. Height 23,7cm, ø corpus 12,5cm. Black glazed jug for wine with treefoil mouth of typus 3 with painting in white, yellow and red. On shoulder and belly an arbour composed of vine and a red taenia. Underneath and above the foot reddish slip. With copy of the Hirsch catalogue from 2003! Small chips at mouth and handle, otherwise intact.
