Venus Pudica. - Venus Pudica. Roman Imperial Period, 3rd quarter 2nd century AD. Solid cast. The nude goddess with inlayed eyes made of silver covering her pubic with her left hand. She is wearing a hairdress with middle part and bun of the later Antoninian Period and standing of a profiled base. Dark green patina, right arm broken, small traces of corrosion.
