A Silver Gilt Amulet Pouch (Kheikel), Turkmenistan, 19th Century
Description: Open work square shaped pouch with a triangular lid. Decorated throughout with scrolls and set with cornelians. The handle composed of open work gilt elements, each set with a cornelian and connected by a braided silver chain.
