A GEORGE III FIGURED MAHOGANY EIGHT DAY LONGCASE CLOCK the break arched hood with eglomise frieze above a glazed door with reeded columns, the slender trunk with reeded quarter columns on a canted base, the 12" arched brass dial with gilt winged cherub head spandrels and silvered chapter ring surrounding a matted centre with subsidiary seconds dial and calendar aperture, the arch with rolling moonphase fronting an eight-day weight driven movement striking on a bell. (224.5cm high not including finial )
